Kjell Bjornestad
was born in 1968 . He started his carer
in 1988 while he was serving his duty in the Norwegian army.
To be like the King, look like the King, act and
sing like the King definitively made him gets attention. To be like Elvis
Presley, to really be like Elvis Presley, not to mention TO BE Elvis Presley
requires much more than just an equal voice of the King, or an equal look.
After years of struggling,
rehearsing, performing in small clubs, finally both the media and the
audience started to become aver of this young, dynamic and talented
impersonator. When the largest TV station in the country made an hour long
documentary about him, his carer definitively was launched. It took eight
hard years to reach that point. His popularity and position as a performer
is very strong in
Norway, and he is doing between 150 and 200 shows each
year.
Kjell Bjornestad have made two albums during his carer. Although Kjell Bjornestad is an excellent Elvis impersonator, he is also a great entertainer.He is one of the few and gifted performers that “has” it, whatever “that” is. He is like a firework on stage, with the charisma and radiation in his possession.
